History

Department of Ancient Languages and Cultures was founded in 1995 with the aim of doing research on Greek an Latin written sources and of educating students on the subject. The first head of the department was Prof. Dr. Hasan Malay. Prof. Dr. Cumhur Tanrıver carries on the headship now. Our department does not provide education for undergraduate or postgraduate.
